Meet Scot + Chelsi

Scot and Chelsi met in 2005 in their shared eastern North Carolina home, working together at a private country club. They quickly discovered shared culinary and life philosophies, and over the past twenty years, their professional and personal bond has deepened, evolving into a romantic partnership that inspired them to establish Alta Lord. The idea for Alta Lord blossomed over several glasses of wine and handmade pasta.

"We should be sharing this with others," they remarked. Recognizing the special connection and energy between them, the dream of Scot and Chelsi became a reality: Alta Lord.

Both Scot and Chelsi bring independent years of diverse culinary experience, ranging from low country cooking in Charleston and James Beard-nominated kitchens to private cheffing in Martha’s Vineyard and Michelin-star job offers. More than just creating beautiful food, they believe in curating a complete dining experience where they can share their deep appreciation for food, beverages, laughter, music, and each other – with you, in the comfort of your own home.
